Haven't you guys heard the quote from Forrest Gump? "My mama always said, Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what your gonna get." =)

Well, it depends on how you look at it. I like most of the pieces in a box of chocolates, but I hate the dark chocolates with the rasberry in them. Similarly, I enjoy most of my life, but I wish I could erase the bad times.

It just means that a you never know what you can get in a box of chocolate, and life is full of surprises. Its not about how the chocolate taste like.

Actually, depending on the brand of chocolates, some of them really suck. Like the Whitman Samplers. So life is like a box of Whitmans.....

this is a metaphor for life
some chocolates are Carmel's
some are fill with maple creams
some are just plain chocolates
some are nuts covered with chocolates
you never know which one you will chose but you have to live with your discussion

Depends on which chocolate you bite into. Sometimes you bite into a delicious one (life's ups), and other times YUCK (life's downs)!!
