Is true we look alike! And some of our names are Arabic,aida, Omar, Yasir and many more, maybe the Spaniards and and Arabs who came to the new world first , wereour ancestors, I, myself have a great -grandfather by the name [he passed on when I was a little girl, but I did meet him once, a tall ,dark, mustachioed ,whitish hair , curly, and piercing black eyes!]of Lazaro nazario, so itn sounds Arabic to me , to this day I cannot find any information on his birth -certificate or the yomb where he was buried! The local churh tells me he was not christian ,so no records! Iam still looking, and I love belly -dancing, midddle east stories , one thousand and one nights, etc, I love their symbols, their history, their colors , iam thinking we are related ,the Arbs and us, hispanics. thanks for the question.Hugs.

I am an Hispanic as you say and there is never going to be someone that looks like me, I don't even know what middle Easterners you are talking about that look a lot like us, and there are people among us that have education including College Degrees and are decent, law abiding citizens. We, most of all are proud to be Americans and some of us do not like to be compared to anyone else.

They probably have some straight forward Asian roots. The ancestry of many Hispanics is close by American--North, South, or substantial--and the Americas were probably first populated through folk that crossed the Bering Strait land bridge from Asia. the midsection East is the more suitable straight forward call for the realm it particularly is, geographically, southwestern Asia. So, definite, bypass lower back some thousand years, you would locate straight forward ancestry.

I think it's the latitude. We seem to lighten as we reach the top of the globe and darken as we reach the equator. People on the same level or latitude around the world would naturally have a similar coloring.
