That there are some really immature people (or should I say "children") on here? I'm all for sarcastic answers, heck, sarcasm is in my blood stream, but the ridiculous nit picking about avatars and what they look like and how they can find celebrities' phone numbers? Come on now. Really. I'm sure I'll get all kinds of rude remarks about this question, but I don't really care. I'm just wondering if any other serious "answerer" on here thinks the same.
Anyone else think this is a bit of a nuisance?

Yes, you are absolutely right! There are all types of creeps who write silly and annoying answers to serious questions. They have a weird sense of humor and think that they have scored over the asker of the question.They pick up trivial errors in questions and blow them up, ignoring the essence of the question. They act contrary to the principle that one should share his knowledge with others, in a forum like YA.
The best you can do is to give their answers a thumbs down, and if the answers are really abusive, report them.Thereafter, just ignore these guys' answes and go on to others' answers that prove informative.
Unfortunately, the more you vent your displeasure about such guys, the more badly they behave. Lets not get too stressed about them, and get on with the serious business of learning from others' experience.

YES YES YES! I tried to ask a question, genuinely wondering if anyone had ever experienced tying off a mole personally and what their experiences were, and I got three ridiculous answers. None actually answered the question, and the one that came closest just said "No." So I suppose it answered the question, but it wasnt' at all helpful. And I just came across one question that said if you clicked on the question you were a raging homosexual and if you didn't answer it then you clearly liked butt sex. Sigh. People need to find a little bit more productive things to occupy their time. Perhaps I could give them tips on crocheting or some of my other productive hobbies.
