It's being halved for 10 days so
15360/(2^10) = 15360/1024 = 15L

Easiest way would be to make a chart listing the day and the amount of water left at the end of each day.
Or you could use an equation to model what's happening each day. Taking half and then taking half again, is really just dividing by powers of 2. So a model equation may look something like this: y = 15360/2^n, or this y = 15360(.5)^n

So after each day, only half the amount of water is left.
At the end of the first day, you'll have 15360 x 0.5 L of water.
After the second day, you'll have (15360 x 0.5) x 0.5 L of water.
So after 10 days, you will have? =)
I hope this helps. Its a lot more fun to get the answer on your own, which shouldn't be a problem since you now already know the method.

The amount of water at end of day 1 is V/2. At the end of day 2 it is V/2*(1/2) = V/2^2. Then at the end of day n the amount left is V/2^n.

day 1 15360*1/2
then on day 2 you start out with what you had at the end of day one and take away half of that
day 2 = day1*1/2
=(15360*1/2)*1/2
=15360*1/2^2
then on day 3 you start out with what you had at the end of day 2 and take away half of that
day 3= day 2*1/2
= [(15360*1/2)*1/2]*1/2
=15360*1/2^3
and the pattern continues till day 10
day 10 =15360 * 1/2^10

At the end of the 10th day there will be15 L.
End of 1st day: 15,360/2=7680L
End of 2nd day: 7680/2=3840L
End of 3rd day: 3840/2=1920L
End of 4th day: 1920/2=960 L
End of 5th day: 960/2=480 L
End of 6th day: 480/2=240L
End of 7th day: 240/2=120 L
End of 8th day: 120/2 = 60 L
End of 9th day: 60/2= 30L
End of 10th day: 30/2=15 L

just take 15,360 and divide by 2, then divide it 9 more times and you should get 15L. but that might be wrong
