Remember

sin x = cos(90 - x)
sin x = sin(180 - x)
cos x = -cox(180 - x)

a. (sin 80º - sin 10º)/(sin 80º + sin 10º)
= (sin 80º - cos 80º)/(sin 80º + cos 80º)

b. (sin 130º + sin 20º) / (cos 130º + cos 20º)
= (sin 50º + sin 20º) / (-cos 50º + cos 20º)
= (cos 40º + sin 20º) / (-sin 40º + cos 20º)
= (1 - 2sin² 20º + sin 20º) / (-2(sin 20º)(cos 20º) + cos 20º)
= (1 - sin 20º)(1 + 2sin 20º) / {(cos 20º)(1 - 2sin 20º)}

Here's part a.

In the region 0 deg (90-angle). Note that 90-80=10. Then we substitute:
cos 10 - sin 10 / cos 10 + sin 10. If you want to have only 1 function, sin and cos are related:
sin2 (a) + cos2 (a) =1
