I would just do a few warm ups each day, not too much to stress your voice. If that's to hard, then hum, and if that's to much, just keep doing what your doing. I'm always sick, and my voice has been fine. I always have those symptoms due to a weak immune system and bad allergies, but it could be a sinus infection and the mucus in your throat is mucus from your nose. You can still sing, but 10 mins. a day at max.

Sweetie, I hate to take away your life line right now, but you need to get off of here. STOP reading! STOP writing! Do these 2 things as little as possible, because our brains recoginize reading the same way it does speaking. Our vocal chords still vibrate when we read, just not with the same intensity as when we speak. You are actually hindering your healing when you read & write. Sorry :( ...I hope you get well soon and the gargling will help and have lots of soothing drinks, like tea w/ honey or mint.

Whatever you do, stop talking until your voice comes back or it will take longer. Gargle with 1/8tsp. salt in a glass of warm water, but don't drink it.
