ive been sick since the 29th of december and couple of days after, my father gave me a antibiotic pill [mw not knowing that it was i took it] and yesterday i had unprotected sex with my fiance [he pulled out] am i'm worried if i should take a morning after pill again in case. [i've been on the pill for almost 6 months now incase that'll help with the answer a bit]

My daughter's dentist didn't tell her it would interfere with her pill. Sean was born ten months after Tyler!

Im confused....you have your B/F pull out even though you are taking the pill? did i get that right? If you are taking birth control pills, taking an antibiotic could negate it...so you do need to use back up form of contraception (pulling out is not contraception!) use a condom.
However, you only had one dose of the antibiotic - usually you take two or three pills a day for 10 days ...so i think the odds are low that you could be pregnant....why dont you just rest (alone) in bed for a while and get over this cold!

Yes when you take antibiotics they do lower the effectiveness of the pill but you said you only took one and he pulled out so I doubt you are but if your worried then do what you have to do....

I do not know personally about this. I DO know of 2 ladies in my church that were faithful to take BC pills. They got pregnant. When trying to find out why, the ob-gyn asked if they had taken antibiotics. Both of them had.

Anti-biotics can make your birth control ineffective. Just ask the baby I'm carrying now! I'm 22 weeks and got pregnant while on the pill and taking anti-biotics.
