Your first ultrasound isn't usually until 12 weeks when they verify your sizes and determine your due date.... your second ultrasound done at 18 weeks will determine the sex of the baby.
Best of luck to ya

They will probably not do an ultrasound at this visit; most doctors will not do one until 20 weeks or so. Your doctor may be different though. The sex of the baby can be determined during the 20 week ultrasound, or if you have to have an amniocentesis they can tell you from that. And about the weeks going slow, wait until your ninth month; you will think you've been pregnant for YEARS!

It all depends on your dr some don't do ultrasounds until about the 20week mark that is how my dr is I had an ultrasound at 13 weeks only because they had a hard time finding the heartbeat so we did a quick one to see the heartbeat. I found out the sex of my baby at 17 and 1/2 weeks. good luck to you! The beginning does go by slowly but it will pass I promise.

At my first visit at 9 weeks I did get an ultrasound to see if it was a single or multiple pregnancy. I believe that was standard.....as for the sex of the baby you'll have to wait untill your at least 20 weeks. It feels like forever, but once you hold your little baby it will all seem like it happened in a blink. congrats

They will probably schedule the ultrasound at that point. You will not know the gender until 20 weeks. The 10 week ultrasound is a dating ultrasound to tell how far along you are. Don't rush your pregnancy....slow down and enjoy it.....it goes by so fast.....

the weeks will seem to go slower the further along you get. You will not likely get an ultrasound at your first appointment. most doctors give ultra sounds at 20 weeks. this is the when the baby's sex can be seen (if baby is laying right). GOOD LUCK!

They may do an ultrasound to determine age of the embryo....but not neccesarily...and no, too soon to tell what sex the baby is....probably around week 18 - 20 or so.

Get used to the weeks going by slowwww!!! You have to wait 40 looooong weeks!! At your first visit they mainly get all you info(so be prepared) and they will confirm your pregnancy and give you and ultrasound appointment(in which they will confirm your due date etc..) Your second scan will be around 20 weeks. (to determine sex and any abnormalities, placenta location etc.) It really depends on your doctor, they are all different but they do them around the same time..Good Luck and Congrats!!
