if you don't want to play then just don't play u don't need an excuse to quit, but trust me i LOVE football but playing it in high school just didn't seem fun for me and i couldn't wait to be done with it. But now that im in college i seriously miss it greatly. I guess its one of those things you don't realize what u have till u lose it, all im saying is don't decide not to play and regret it later cause once u graduate its gone.
