Well, it's certainly not the first time. We've already had a black woman attempt the run for president. In 1972, Shirley Chisholm attempted to win the democratic bid. We've also had a female nominee for vice president and several bid attempts by Rev. Jesse Jackson, among others. The polls seem to point to a runaway victory for Hillary in the nomination run. It doesn't look like Obama has much of a chance against her.

So do I! I think it's about time a woman or a black man be given a chance to run the country. Other countries have done well under the leadership of women or persons of other races. The U.S. is stuck in the W.A.S.P. male mode, and it's getting a might stuffy in the White House.

Yeah it's pretty cool. I'm a white male. I'll probably vote for Obama if it ends up being him vs Clinton. That's simply because I don't like Clinton. But then, I haven't heard Obama speak one word.

I hope neither. Both have failed to show me what to do in a crisis. I believe Obama is too wet behind the ears to handle the situation in Iraq. Hilary is only riding on that she is a woman, we more than that. Neither wouldn't know what to do if we had another 9/11, God Forbid.

I think it is wrong to judge the candidates by whether they are black, white, male, Hispanic, female or other. I think both Clinton and Obama are way to liberal and wold not vote for ether one.

If those are the only ones to choose from.
Then the country will pick a white woman over a black man.
Welcome to the land of bigots.

Hopefully neither one.
A woman and a black/white man.... Not a bad idea. I am ready for something like that to happen, but not for either of the two you mentioned.

Personally, I like John Edwards. I would like to see Edwards & Obama on the same ticket. I'm not real sure we are ready for Hillary, but would vote for her if she is nominated.
