As you can see, many will deny the fact that the Republican party has been guided by nothing but extremists. But the fact that most will still pay alms to Ronald Reagan, that so many of us were duped into supporting, is a pretty good sign that you are in fact correct. I booted the Republican party to the curb when it became the party of Ronald Reagan and Southern Conservatives, which don't remind me much of conservatism at all. At one time, conservatives were people who believed in being left alone to do their own thing. This new breed has anything but a "leave me alone to do my own thing" mentality. It is all about winning the race to subject everyone else to their personal beliefs rooted in some misguided biblical views that has been twisted and perverted by cult-like mentality and following of extremist leaders. Moderate Repblicans? There are a few who cling to the dream that you can be a moderate and a Republican at the same time. There are even those very few who still cling to the dream that you can be Republican and still want smaller government. But the rest of us woke up when Ronald Reagan sold us out to the Chinese, the defense technology developers, and the energy corporations, thinking jingoism would suffice in the place of a stong America. All that did is result in the nationalists that claim it as patriotism looking back to better days, not realizing the better days of America was the pre-Ronald Reagan era.

Every party starts out or started out for the good of the people but ends up being useless. Whatever party you or someone else starts will have people who are going to say what is being said about the Democrats and Republicans.
Like corporations. When they are small they care about customers and as they grow big and layers are added they start losing touch with the customers.

I am with you, guy! I have been sick of all this partisan crap for a long time and neither party holds out any hope for me! They are both corrupt in my book! Oh, where would we get the candidates? You know, since common sense is in such short supply among politicians?

You said it brother! I think when elections are cleaned up the true public servants who really want to serve their constituents will emerge and the wealthy politicians and/or the ones who owe outstanding favors to others will be a thing of the past.
Hmmm, I wonder who's blood the lobbyists will have to suck then?

The current Republican party is not the party of Reagan. Until they realize that they are not helping Americans.

I say we start one called the Redneck party. Since we live on farms, gas and fuel would need to be cheap. Since we don't have much money, we wouldn't own any oil companies. Since we love our mothers, we would make mothers day a week long holiday. We love to fight so we wouldn't mess around with the enemy. We'd jus Gitter down. Since trucks are our main transportation, the price of them would come down. The lower class would feel elevated and the rich would feel out of place. American jobs would return to America or we would have to take the overseas business owners snipe hunting one night. Good idea, lets do it.

I wish we could get along. There are some issues we need to compromise on for the good of our nation. Everyone's playing for blood it seems.
