I'm Alright by Jo Dee Messina
Here are the lyrics in case you're interested:
Well it's been a long time glad to see your face
I knew we'd meet again another time another place
Can't believe it's been so many years
You'd better grab a chair and a couple of beers
Lookin' good in you three piece suit
You know, I always knew you'd take the business route
You were always the one to follow the light and you look like you're
doing alright
Been singin' for my rent and singin' for my supper
I'm above the below and below the upper
I'm stuck in the middle where money gets tight
But I guess I'm doin' alright
I'm all, I'm all, I'm alright
It's a beautiful day not a cloud in sight so I guess I'm doin' alright
o - oh, o - oh, I'm alright
Got a good old friend here with me tonight and I guess I'm doin'
alright
Well we had a lot of dreams when we were younger
They thought we were crazy but we had the hunger
We kept a lot of friends, skipped a lot of class
Been on top of the world and knocked on our ____
We lost touch, we lost in love
We lost our minds when things got tough, but
Beatin' time is a losin' fight and I guess I'm doin' alright
I'm all, I'm all, I'm alright
It's a beautiful day not a cloud in sight so I guess I'm doin' alright
o - oh, o - oh, I'm alright
Got a good old friend here with me tonight and I guess I'm doin'
alright
Well I guess I'm doin' alright
Well I hate to see this evening end
God only knows when I'll see you again
Just send a fax or send me a letter or give me a call that would even
be better
Give the kids a kiss for me and say hello to the family
And tell them all my future's lookin' bright
Well, I miss 'em but I'm doin' alright
I said I miss 'em but I'm doin' alright
I'm all, I'm all, I'm alright
It's a beautiful day not a cloud in sight so I guess I'm doin' alright
o - oh, o - oh, I'm alright
Got a good old friend here with me tonight and I guess I'm doin'
alright
Well I guess I'm doin' alright
I'm doin' alright
It's a feel good song and I'm at a really happy place in life - I really relate to that about this song. Just curious, what's the one you relate to most?

This is a hard choice. I can relate to so many, but I would say "I Believe". It's an old song from the 50's. The artist who originated it is someone you probably never heard of. His name was Frankie Laine.
If you can, try to find the lyrics. The song is about God's existence. I'm not doing this song justice. It is a beautiful song and has been re-done over the years.

I'm Eighteen by Alice Cooper.
i'm not 18, but i'm at that transitional stage of life.
"Lines form on my face and hands,
Lines form from the ups and downs,
I'm in the middle without any plans,
I'm a boy and I'm a man"

Halifax - Better Than Sex
It's not as sexual or whatever as it sounds. It's actually playing on my Myspace.
Here are the lyrics:
In this bottle, I'm all dressed up for you
In red, my intentions aren't so good
It may take one miracle
But if you have more I'm sure we could use them
So why do we (why do we), breathe sex like lovers but live like enemies?
Fix me, fix me a new cure for us
One that's stronger
One that will ease the pain
I wanna be loved by you
I wanna be there right next to you
As I spread throughout your veins
The tension's getting stronger now with pain
You can have your miracle
But I won't give in to your throne
Royalty means nothing to me
Still why do we (why do we), breathe sex like lovers but live like enemies?
Fix me, fix me a new cure for us
One that's stronger
One that will ease the pain
I wanna be loved by you
I wanna be there right next to you
Fix me, fix me a new cure for us
One that's stronger
One that will ease the pain
I wanna be loved by you
I wanna be there right next to you
Let's sleep tonight on a bed of nails
So that every other night doesn't seem so painful after all (after all)
Let's sleep tonight on a bed of nails
So that every other night doesn't seem so painful after all (after all) after all
Fix me, fix me a new cure for us
One that's stronger
One that will ease the pain
I wanna be loved by you
I wanna be there right next to you
Fix me, fix me a new cure for us
One that's stronger
One that will ease the pain
I wanna be loved by you
I wanna be there right next to you
Fix me, fix me a new cure for us
One that's stronger
One that will ease the pain
I wanna be loved by you
I wanna be there right next to you
