How big does a Oscar(Fish) actually get and why do you have to feed it so many times a day?

32 and yes I did it lol. The size of an oscar will depend on diet and space. I've seen an 8 inch long oscar before. Most fresh water fish can be fed twice a day. I feed mine as much as they could consume in 10 minutes. Have a great year.

well if you actualy count how many licks it takes and send letter to tootsie rool Company they send you some certificate they did for a friend of mine.
bout the fish the books i read dosnt say any thing about feeding it mny times a day but they will get as big as the enclosure you put them in but limited to like a foot long on avrage

It can grow 15-18 inches. And you have to feed them many times in a day because they are very big and need more food than small fish.

haven't you seen the commercial they addressed this question and even demonstrated how many licks it takes... 3....one lick, two lick, three lick, then you bite the darn thing and you are at the tootsie roll filling.....
