Occasionally, if I am trying to tempt them to do something they dont like. Me and my cat Menace have long conversations. He is a meower so I just talk to him about problems, lately I have been asking him about why people are so silly on Yahoo Answers. He aggrees with me usually.

Yes! I talk, sing, and mutter to them in a baby voice because it gets them all excited.

Absolutely not. My sister talks to my dogs in a baby voice, and it drives me nuts. There is no reason for it.

Once in a while.....usually we have adult conversations. They have opinions and ideas for goodness sakes why treat them like babies! My cat plays online scrabble with me...I can see her giggle when I spell a small word...she's such a smarty!

yeah sometimes..I do it with new pets when im trying to calm them down, and I do it with my older cat when i'm trying to irritate him cus it's funny.
