I think it is fair to say that Bush has done some HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE things. This is not to say that he did or did not do anything wrong. Like anyone he would be inocent until proven guilty. I beleive there is at least insufficient evidence that has been presented to us that shows that the invasion of Iraq was in our and the wrolds best interest as well as other actions inclduing the handlings of terror suppects. Maybe there is a good reason for all of this. Without this hard evidence presented to us and the loss of life involved and the ambiguity of potential human rights violations, is it entirely unlikely that someone will push to get him on trial for War Crimes or whatever.

.. im pretty sure theres some clauses in recently passed legislation that protect him from that ....
http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2006/8/31/142750.shtml
Benjamin Ferencz, a chief prosecutor of Nazi war crimes at Nuremberg, recently said that President Bush should be tried as a war criminal side by side with Saddam Hussein for starting aggressive wars — Hussein for his 1990 invasion of Kuwait and Bush for his 2003 invasion of Iraq.
Under the Nuremberg standard, Bush is definitely a war criminal. The U.S. Supreme Court also exposed Bush to war crimes charges under both the U.S. War Crimes Act of 1996 and the Geneva Conventions when the court ruled in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld against the Bush administration's military tribunals and inhumane treatment of detainees
One of Bush's changes would deny protection of the Geneva Conventions to anyone in any American court.
Bush's other change would protect from prosecution any U.S. government official or military personnel guilty of violating Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions. Article 3 prohibits "at any time and in any place whatsoever outrages upon personal dignity, in particular, humiliating and degrading treatment."

It's not likely that he will be put on trial. It's not illegal to make unpopular legal decisions. If he had committed war crimes the dems would be all over it.I suppose if he were ever to go to trial all the people in congress that initially supported his decisions,be they republicans or democrats would be accessories.Even the ones who flip-flopped to fit public opinion.

We can only wish I guess. I imagine that his fellow Skull and Bonesmen will find a way to keep that from happening...unless there is a revolt in the streets.

Unfortunately, it will never happen. He is guilty of war crimes which cost a lot of lives, as opposed to a BJ.

Bush is backed up by far too many corrupt dollars to ever stand trial although he and Cheney should be impeached.
