You can still go ahead and file without him...these days in some states, only one signature is required.

If the person who wants a divorce files, the other person can contest in some cases. you will have to contact a lawyer in your state for more information.
the the person wanting a divorce hasn't filed, the person not wanting the divorce can request counseling or mediation. if the person seeking the divorce is having an affair, it is highly unlikely divorce can be avoided, as the affair is likely the crutch for the intended divorce.
The person not wanting the divorce can also contact friends and family the divorce-seeker respects and ask them to speak on behalf of the marriage.

I really do not know... Talk with an attorney and find out... I think if there is not a good reason for the divorce then if one person does not want it you cannot force them to do it or agree to it.

A freedom or a right is a state granted permission to do something within a certain capacity that they later set with court cases. It is a joke. All of politics is a joke. Telling someone they are allowed to be free is not real freedom and is even worse being a total perversion of what a right or freedom really is.

Either way if one wants out they can get out the only thing is they might make you see a marriage council, you will have to check with your court. Normal if you want out you can get out and the one that does not want out usually screws the one that wants out and wants everything and you will get everything if they want out that bad!!! God Bless and hope there are no children involved because there the one who suffers from it the most. In God's eyes you have the right to Divorce if you have committed a sin of adultery! Your in my Prayers!!

That's why its a divorce and not a dissolution. Its because you can't agree on things, even getting the marriage annulled. Talk to an attorney. Good luck!

It depends on the state that you live in honey. In some cases you just need to file and see what happens.
