If you possess a law degree: Had the cop felt something illegal in his pocket (remember his hand was in his pocket) , would that evidence stand in court considering he had neither probable cause nor a search warrant?

If the officer was hired by, and acting as, a security guard for the theater, he did right- he waited until the man bought a ticket, then acted according to the policies of the venue.
