So sorry to hear of your loss, I too recently lost a child at 16 weeks (second loss) about 7 months ago and I am now 14 weeks pregnant. So far have had no complications and everything looks good. Have faith, it will turn out. Good luck!!

I'm so sorry for your loss - but congratulations on your new little one!
It sounds like what happened with your daughter was somewhat of a freak accident, and it in no way reflects on your current pregnancy. Your chances are the same as everyone else's of having a healthy pregnancy with a good outcome - that is, the chances are very good.
Have a happy, healthy nine months!

My sister-in-law had 3 miscarriages. They thought she would never have any children. They kept their faith in God and He blessed them with 3 children all healthy. Ages of the children to this date are: 21 years old and a College Junior, 19 years old and a Freshman in college, and a 14 year old a freshman in high school. Her miscarriages were close to her other preg.

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. What kind of cord accident was it? You should be able to carry a baby to term w/out complications.

i think as long as your doc gives you the ok, you should be fine. take it easy and slow in your pregnancy and any other advice he/she wants you to take.
