The strip refers to "Las Vegas Blvd South"
What actually constitutes a "center strip" hotel is arbitrary. IMHO the center of the strip includes those hotels located between The Venetian and Treasure Island on the North and Paris and Bellagio to the South.
On the West side of the strip this would include. Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Mirage and Treasure Island. On the East side of the strip, The Venetian, Harrah's, Imperial Palace, Flamingo, Barbary Coast, Bally's, and Paris.
This is a great site for LV info > maps of LV hotels included
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com >"VEGAS INFO" >Maps of Las Vegas
The Aladdin which is only a block or so South of Paris would be borderline "center strip" IMHO...
Hotels such as Monte Carlo, MGM, Excalibur,Tropicana, Hooters, NY NY, Luxor and Mandalay Bay are located around the far South end of the strip on what is known as the "second" four corners(Tropicana and LV Blvd S)
The intersection of LV Blvd S and Flamingo is known as the four corners and is in the heart of the strip. Caesars, Bellagio, and Bally's are the major hotels that sit right at this intersection.
Hotels such as Wynn, Riviera, Sahara, Stratosphere, Circus Circus and Frontier are on the North end of the strip.
If someone wanted to stretch the definition of "center strip" then Aladdin, Wynn and The Frontier could be considered center strip.

The Strip is Las Vegas Boulevard South
Center strip is from Flamingo Ave to Spring Mountain (these days)
with Flamingo Ave being the center center. Hotels center strip include TI, Mirage, Ceasers Palace on the west side and Venetian, Harrahs, Imperial Palace, Flamingo Hilton and Barbary Coast on the east side.
But North strip has nice casinos/hotels including La Rev and Stratosphere and south side has a lot, including Bellagio, Luxor, Aladdin, MGM just to name a few.
