This car does not have a PRNDL switch. It has a 2 wire switch, GM part number 90482454 located on the transaxle. It is common failure, but could be a loose connection, or bulbs.

PRNDL Switch is most likely bad or has a glitch. It's the switch that should on top of your trany towards the firewall of your car. Takes time, patients and a little bit of cash to fix. Both bulbs could be bad as well I've seen that multiple times.

Most likely the switch in the transaxle, but check both bulbs just in case.

Both bulbs burned out.
Reverse switch on the transmission not working.
Broken wire somewhere.

Get out your test light and see where it fails.
