I read this differently (correctly). The quesion asker is asking if they/(the child) are entitled to Child Support. While the child is the cause of the support, they are not entitled to the support. While the custodial parent may be entitled to child support, that will be spelled out in the decree. Once a child is in college, parents are not required to pay for them past the age of 18.

If you're 18, grow up, you need to leave the nest.

That would depend on the laws in Florida. Where I live, parents are financially responsible for college students until they reach majority age, which is 19 here.

First, check the child support court orders. There may be a mention there. If not, then check the state laws where the document was drawn up, as the rules differs from state to state.

No, your Dad pays child support to your Mom till you finish high school unless paying longer is specified in the child support or divorce order.

Nope, and at 18 you shouldn't be a burden to your parents. You're an adult now, welcome to the club. I suggest you get a job, 2nd shift would be best, something not too demanding.

I worked my way through college. At job interviews it was a big plus. Employers are real impressed by stuff like that. I'm not saying it was easy but it's also not impossible.

A father who has been paying support is obligated to continue it if the child enrolls in college. This may vary state to state.

Nope, at 18, just like you can do whatever you want, so can your dad (unless you have a contract with him that says he will pay for college). My advice, be nice to him (really nice, he will be able to tell if you are just sucking up to him). Good luck! If not, get you mom to pay, I'm sure she will (talk to them both about it, separately, you may learn some interesting things).

It will depend on the agreement at the time of the divorce. But, I do think he is responsible if you are a full time student until you are 22.

No. Once you are 18 you are an adult, and do not get mandated child support.

when you turned 18, you turned into an adult in the eyes of the law. He doesn't have to give you anything
