I had one drove home and jumped on the wife to reassure myself.
Not sore then or ever.

Different guys have different reactions. I've found that men with larger scrotums have more pain over the ones that are smaller.

You need a good jock strap and a couple of bags of frozen peas on hand for after the procedure.

Word of caution - it is NOT a good idea to pretend you had it done and tell your wife you did. She'll be excited about the new baby, but it may take time for her to get over being really pissed at you.

my father had one some 30 years ago, and he's still fit n fine...in every sense, except that he's turned somewhat senile after he entered his 60s, which i think wud be illogical to link that to Vasectomy.LOL

And I had an Emergency Apendectomy just 1 n half months ago, which is far riskier, n u'dnt believe if u'd see me running all the time...
therefore, go ahead, i think Vasectomy is the greatest service done by the surgical department to the mankind...lol....

It just aches a bit and feels uncomfortable for a couple of days afterwards. Not really sore - I carried on as normal afterwards.
Make sure you aren't going to want kids ever again though. Divorce and death can change your mind about these things.

Vasectomy, IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. The cost is very low and the medical services are very good in India.

My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the Forerunners Healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full IVF treatment in India for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the newspapers. I have also read about a Chinese couple who planned surrogacy through the Forerunners Healthcare. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery and infertility treatment like IVF, IUI, and ICSI abroad for low price. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery and treatment can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

if you keep an ice pack on it like the md said and take some aspirin, you`ll be ok, keep the site clean and dry. pain is caused by persperation in the cut wound area, only a shotrt time, get a good donut dolly later to show you the rope trick.

It's not that bad. You won't be running any marathons for a week or two, but I was able to function (return to work) after four days. I was able to "function" (NOT talking about work here) in about 10 days, which is actually a little slower than most guys.

Not sore, tender for a week then everything fine, there is more defining a man than his ability to father children.
