i want to handmake and package cosmetics for gifts throughout the year but can't find anywhere that tells how to store and increase shelf life, esp. for body scrubs. recipes and how to's also welcome. please help! thanx.

Firstly, you're gonna run into problems here. People are prone to irritation so make sure you know what you're doing. Natural doesn't mean harmless.
Storage and shelf life depends what you're putting in, but refrigeration is probablyyour best bet for most things.
