In my experience, the difference i have noticed is it seems that a bacterial infection comes with stomach pain.

I read on a medical site that if you have stomach pain with a suspected yeast infection to see a doctor as it may be a more serious problem such as a bacterial infection. But that doesn't mean they always have stomach pain *shrugs*

Sounds like a yeast infection. I would use an over the counter medication like Monistat 7. You should feel some relief within a day or two. If it does not go away after that, then I would consult with your OB/GYN.

Bacterial vaginosis usually is just some heavy, clear discharge with mild itching and abdominal cramping.

Sounds exactly like a yeast infection. Go to the drug store and buy some Monistat.

Make sure you wash your underwear very well, in hot water. If you have some that don't have a cotton panel in the crotch, that might not do the trick. Put those in the microwave for about 30 seconds (check for metal parts first!)

Take care of it right now before it spreads into a nasty UTI.

If this doesn't take care of it, then go see your doctor.

It's probably a yeast infection but it could also be bacterial. If you've never had one before you should go to the doctor to get it correctly diagnosed. After that if you get one again you can just buy something over the counter.

Sounds like yeast. You can buy over the counter products for this. Terconazole works very well. You might also want to get a product that has a topical cream to apply to the outside to help with the itching and burning.

Wear cotton undies, avoid scented soaps and cornstarch powders.
