Next Gen. It was the best of all the ST series. All the characters mesh real well together, and Patrick Steward was great as the captain.

Never really liked TOS. I guess it was before my time, and all the characters irked me. The special effects wasn't that great and neither were the storylines.

DS9: Never really liked the early seasons because it didn't really bring anything new. But the show got a whole lot better near the end of it's run.

Voyager: Much better than DS9 because the crew met new enemies, and they had to use different tactics when dealing with enemies.

Enterprise: If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all. This series pretty much killed the Star Trek franchise. Scott Bakula is a great actor. He was great in Quantum Leap, but as Jonathan Archer, he sucks. The whole premise was just a huge mess. Nobody cares about what happens during the early days.

On a scale of 1-10

Classic - 7 - The mold was built here
NG-9 - Nicely done, almost became a model for good Sci-fi
DS9-5 - CHeaply done, same stages all the time
Voy-6 - Seemed preachy to me
Enterprise=5 - A good attempt to be retro Star Trek, but became the last of Star Trek overdose.

The last three were foisted on us by networks that constantly believe that "if one is execellent, 3 will be outstanding". Morons.
