i think at 18 she has NO idea what she's getting herself into and when she hits 24-28 she will wise up and tell you to cook your own damn meals.
and i think the 28yr old dude is a punk looking for someone to replace mom (ie. his last maid and cook)
or better yet...she'll leave your stupid @ss for someone younger and hotter and collect a CRAP load of child support.

I actually know a couple who where the exact ages your describing they have been married now for 10 years and are still going strong ,the fact is a 28 yr old male is the same maturity as a 18 year old girl ,good luck god bless your happy union.

I think that guy needs to slow down and take a look at his life before he leaps into a situation he can't get out of. You said she wants 8 children once that happens your life is going to change dramatically you guys won't even have time for each other anymore. All your free time is going to turn into arguments and fighting with the children. If it was me I would stop and think for a while. No offense to anyone.

She's legal, but really still a kid. At 18, she has NO idea what life really is. Give her a few years to do some more maturing.

I don't think that is right. Because when people are 18 they are still so young and don't really know what they want in life. So I think 18 is to young to be getting married.

Well, It kind of sounds like that in her mind, she can't wait to get married and do the wife and mother thing. I just think this sounds a little weird to me? But you only live once, so do what makes you happy today because who is to say tomorrow will be here.

it wasnt until you added that she makes a good servant that i found issue with this. i think someone is taking advantage of the fact that this young lady hasnt quite figured out who she is, but if you marry now you can be sure that in time she will figure it out and when that time comes i hope you are ready for some big changes. age means nothing but it is the lack of mutual respect that i am worried about.

I think if she's a mature person and you love her than you should follow your heart. I married a person 5 years older than me. Four children and ten years later we are still in love. Good luck!
