What do you do when people ignore you?
lol sometimes when my parents watch TV i talk, sometimes they dont even answer me and after i just shut up. it is not my fault i love to talk lol

If I am in a situation like that, what I do is I simply keep talking, but make every sentence a little louder than the one before. This works because they are not listening to you, but they HEAR you, which is all that matters. When they do not answer nor listen to you it is because they are, obviously, ignoring you AKA they do not want to listen to you and they hope that once you realize that, you will stop. If you do not stop you are indirectly telling them that you either do not understand why they are ignoring you or that you will keep talking no matter what. Your parents will then respond to your comments or they will tell you to be quiet. Thus, there are two things you can do, skip the trouble and be quiet OR keep talking. Hope this helps!

If it wasn't important I just shrug it off...maybe your parents are blocking you out if you are rambling, which can be annoying in some cases (I have 4 kids). So maybe change the subject and then go back to it when you know you have their attention better.

I get a little mad. But then on the other hand I ignore people sometimes not on purpose though.

Talk less, or learn to talk about things that are interesting enough for people to listen to, which usually does not include long conversations about yourself!

If what I am saying is really important, I wait until they can focus on what I'm saying and then I repeat it. Otherwise, I just let them ignore it.

My bf does that to me sometimes....I just laugh..because there are times I do the same thing to him.....if it's something I really want him to hear, I tell him to listen to me and he does

i yell their name. if its my boyfriend i just ask over and over again and count the # of times i ask then when he finally hears me i tell him the number of times i asked and use it against him haha. its kinda cruel⥠but whateverrrr. thats just when were on the phone though. if im with him and like the tv or something distracting him i turn it off
