Which ones do you need? There are too many to name!
Almost each city has their own breweries; if you like one beer in one town and go to another, you might not even find that beer there...here are a couple of where I grew up: Licher Bier, Hannen Alt...those are brand names. The first one is a 'export bier' which you drink out of a regular tall glass. The other one is a dark milder beer, which you drink (depending of the size you order) generally out of a straight tall, but thin-glass. Then there is, of course, the Pils (this is the type of beer, not the brand). You drink it out of a glass which looks like a large brandy sniffer (or like a mushroom=Pils, that's what mushroom is in German). It takes exactly 7 1/2 minutes to prepare (Germans like their 'crown' of foam on top of the beer - it takes that long to prepare it so the foam sticks for a while - not just 10 seconds). Then there is also 'Weizenbier' which is served out of a bottle, not of tap...oh, well, I could write on and on...

There are probably hundreds of German beers. Some examples available in the US are Beck's and Hacker-Pschorr. Not sure about the spelling on that last one.
