If there was no McDonald's, think about all those poor cows standing around in the rain and heat and cold weather. Also, look at the driving skills that might be lost or never learned like driving with your knees so you can eat fries with one hand while holding your drink with the other! What would the prison inmates do in their spare time if there were no trash thrown out the window. Keep McDonald's and put ketchup on the cow, become a multitask driver and help inmates get out of their cells for a while.

I think everyoen is correct in saying that McDonalds should not be out of business. But here are some reasons why:

1. McDonalds has been very astute in the business world. Facing a multitude of issues, McDonalds has made many changes in the last few years: Dollar Menu, Salads, healthy alternatives in Happy Meal (apple slices, milk, etc), upgraded it's atmosphere to rival starbucks, premium coffee, some stores have upscale foods, etc etc etc . . . These changes have given McDonalds a conpetitive edge in the fast food industry and preseved McDonalds market share, if not expanded it. In an age of constant fad diets and medical info, McDonalds has positioned itself to serve market needs regardless of the current fad.

2. McDonalds offers low cost food for people who could otherwise not afford to dine out. Think about it, you can get a whole meal for about $3.

3. Ronal McDonald House - I live in Philly so I know how dedicated this company is to helping the people who need it the most - Children who suffer and their parents who need help.

4. McDonalds employees many youths, providing them with lifelong job skills regardless of their future. I worked at a MickyDs before and I went on to college and am very comfortable in life.

5. I can go on and on. but all in all, McDonalds food may be fattening but the blame with that rests more in the eater then McDoanlds.

I guess they shouldn't but this one time i went there late and i ordered a number one [big mac, fries, drink]. I was the only one in the restaurant. I dont know about you guys but i see them people cook the meat and chicken nuggets in a small yellowish tray. So this lady was making my sandwich and all of a sudden she drops one of the piece of meat on the table. Then i saw her pick it up and put it in the sandwhich. i was disgusted. When she gave me all my stuff, i walked over to the garbage and threw everything away except for the cup. I got myself some coke. Now i never eat at mcdanolds. There are so many healtheir choices out there like in and out and burker king. In and Out everything is so fresh and in burger king they acually cook the stuff on a grill. they only use the microwave to heat stuff up.

I hope not! Two big reasons: 1) I'm on a diet and their grilled chicken salad is the only fast-food salad that actually tastes good, and 2) once in a while when I want to cheat there is nothing like a doubld cheeseburger!

No, it is just one choice of a place to eat. There are many places that one can choose from, it is just what one prefers. McDonald's is good for some because it is cheaper than alot of other fast food places.
