Minimum time to burn a candle?

Do I have to burn my votives for at least a particular amount of time to ensure that they burn evenly?

Around 4 hours to keep burning even.

most well poured candles do have a required initial burning time but depending on size will depend in time. Usually they will have an instuction thing printed on them that will tell you how long to burn it. If it is a cheap candle then you probably will not even need to worry about it.

nope, each candle will burn a little differently, it usually isn't noticeable.
