Gold is a great conductor of heat and electricity, and is not affected by air and most reagents. They use gold connectors for television cables to get the sharpest picture. That other person who said gold is a poor conductor is a complete idiot!!!

Yes, electricity passes through Gold very well. Every material is either a conductor (electricity passes through), an insulator, or a semi-conductor. Gold is one of the better conductors.

Silver happens to be the best conductor of electricity on the periodic table, by the way. It's also in the same group as gold and copper, interestingly.

Yes; gold is a VERY good conductor of electricity. That's one reason it's used on the connections of the motherboard for your computer

I used to work as an electroplater for communication hardware and we regularly plated gold onto the parts. Yes gold conducts electricity extremely well.

If you mean gold as in the metal then yes it can. Metals are one of the best group of conductors in the perdioc table of the elements.

gold is one the best conductors around. it is used in very high tech and expensive equipment. but because it is very expensive to use, it isn't used used as much as say very inexpensive copper.
