Most songs by Michael Franti and Spearhead are political...
some really good ones of theirs are "We Don't Stop", "Bomb The World" and "Rock The Nation"
Aussie artists John Butler Trio have some brilliant message songs including "Media" and "Money"
Rage Against The Machine has a heap, including "Voice of The Voiceless" and "Guerilla Radio"
Johnny Cash's "Man In Black", the Doors' "The Unknown Soldier", Ben Harper's "Oppression", Bob Marley's "Real Situation"..... there's sooooo many!

Yeah all Rage Against The Machine songs. Unplayed Piano by Damien Rice (it's about that Nobel Peace Prize winner in Asia that's under House Arrest, Suu Kyi) Lonely Soldier by Damien Rice (anti-war I guess)
