Because they know there is no Mexican "Bin Laden". I mean what is he going to do, blow up the Alamo? We aren't worried about terroism otherwise we wouldn't be over there making more of them. ITS ALL ABOUT THE OIL!!!!!

It's not about oil. It's about votes. Both parties are trying to capture all the votes they can muster. If either party takes a stance against the illegal then the will be slammed in the media and lose a perceived import voting block and lose the power the so desire. Terrorism is a concern but to the Repubs more so that the Dems.

No, oil is not the issue. It's about bleeding heart liberals who think illegal aliens have a right to illegally cross our borders and commit all the crimes they want then be given amnesty a new job and all the benefits of an American citizen and never have to become an American citizen. It's also about keeping and winning the Hispanic votes.

Good question also why allow all these illegals to work with the food supply on farms with produce ,chicken,beef and pork.Its really scary if you think about it they need to be more vigilant and if they would encourage more americans to do farm work and stop looking down on those who do we could better handle our own farms.We have plenty of people who need jobs if the farms offered benefits they would get alot of people who already are working mininum wage to cross over and do farm work for the benefits alone.

I'm not sure but deep down in it seems as though the u.s. govt is allowing them in to cement some sort of "good" relations with those to the south of us as well as those to the north of us. at the same time were on top of the worlds largest oil supply and the pumping stations in the Persian gulf. this is about WW III. its about positioning and preparing for the eventual worst. friendly allies to the north friendly allies to the south. and controlling the oil. remember WWII. its all about strategy. and its all related, including mass quanta ties of Chinese goods being imported in. trying to establish good relations with china..its interwoven like grandmas crocheted afghan.

No doubt America is still the land of opportunity and religious freedom and speech. All of these are reasons why our borders are and will stay "mostly open". Mostly.
