If a person tries to jump of a building people will physically try to grab the person to prevent them from taking their own life, well wasn't it the persons choice on what to do with their body so why stop him. Yet no one interferes with a woman getting an abortion, that's her choice as was the person who tried to jump so what's the difference, both will end a life, one that never had the chance to breathe air.

Many people try to prevent abortions, but I am not aware of one single case where an abortion was physically interfered with. Yes, there have been a few abortion bombings, and the alleged criminal responsible for most of them is now in federal custody.

Many people believe that the woman getting an abortion is destroying a human life rather than taking her own life.

The primary reason the laws have not been reversed, is that too many women refuse to face the reality that they may have murdered an innocent and dependent child. Plus, it is a regular source of income for the medical community.

People do try to interfere. That's why abortion clinics get picketed, bombed and burned down, and doctors get shot at. As far as interfering during an actual abortion, if someone tried to do that, the woman getting the procedure could be seriously hurt.

Wow, that is a deep question. Sometimes, though, a woman has an abortion because of rape, incest, or because there is already a life in danger. I am not for abortion, but I do understand, sometimes, why a woman would have one. Great question!!

probably because having an abortion will affect many less people than someone jumping off a building would...an unborn fetus has had much less chance of changing peoples lives than an adult would have.
