I am 27 years old and my favorite thing to wear is jeans and a tee shirt. I am a dental professional and I have to go to different courses which require me to dress up. I was wondering where the best place is to find clothes that are flattering but inexpensive. I don't want anything boring, I still want to feel pretty.

Ross and Marshall's have designer brands and are inexpensive. You'd be amazed at what you can find there. I receive so many compliments on the clothes I buy there. It's somewhat of a fashion show where I work and the funny thing is our jobs aren't even in the fashion industry. I must say though that I really enjoy dressing up and receiving compliments. It makes feel really good about myself.

Check out places like TJ Maxx, Steinmart, Ross, and Marshall's. You can get nicer clothes and a better price than buying off the rack at the mall. They carry a lot of major (Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, The Limited) and even some designer brands like Coach, Michael Kors, etc.

If ur a chick(I'm assuming u are cuz you said pretty)then JcPenny would be a good place cuz they have lots of dress clothes and are always having sales. You may also want to try Target or even the Gap and mix it up with cheap but really cute clothes.

H&M is pretty cheap and it has modern clothes that range from casual to professional. Look for a neutral colored a-line skirt that falls at about the knee and pair it with a tailored, colored blouse and some great accessories. Don't forget to pick up some comfortable and cute heels!

Clearance rack! A simple wrap dress can do the trick. but if you're like me, and don't like wearing dresses, wear black slacks and a nice, chic black jacket with a fun or funky top underneath (sequined, patterned, etc.).
