Does Helio's phones work on a Cingular plan?

I want to buy a Helio phone but my parents have Cingular ones and want me to have a Cingular plan too. Does Helio work with Cingular plans or just on their own?

Helio and Cingular uses two different network. Cingular uses GSM while Helio uses Earthlink Voice Network and SK Telecom. Both are two completely different technologies. So any phone from Helio will not work with Cingular and vice versa.
