of them.... so like we alwayz have practices on saturdays and like even the teams on the A division even says its retarded havin practice on a saturday... we dont even have time to rest and get ourselves together again.. is it jus me or is my coach frikin dumb? i hate it coz its always early in the morning and like i hardly even get any sleep on the weekdays... should i have my mom complain about it to our athletic director or what?? my mom alwayz yells at me and yeah. i hate it what should i do

I am an assistant athletic director. I schedule all the basketball practices for the eight teams in middle school and high school combined. I put high school teams on Saturday practices only twice a month or on Saturdays before a Monday game. It would probably help if the time for the practice was not early morning. Teenagers love to sleep in and should when they can.
Your coach is not dumb; he wants to make you a good player and make your team successful.
Why is your mom yelling at you? Are you irritable from not having enough sleep?
You could approach your coach about the need to have some lighter practices, shoot more, do some fun stuff to lighten the mood and intensity level.
Think about this though. You GET to play basketball. Is it a chore? I hope not.

yea u should. if its school it should be done during the week. the weekends is a day off for the students to be free. most schools give the weekend off because students need that day off to relax from schoolwork and then basketball. you and your team with the parents should complain and convince the director to give the day off
