It doesn't bother me, but it's usually something that a female should keep private, kind of like a man scratching himself.

i know u said u want guys opinions. but i just thought id answer..ha
in my experience most guys will flip out or feel awkward if u even bring up the subject.
yea there are a few that are ok, but even they still wish u wouldnt bring it up.
like my bf is completely fine if i tell him oh i have my period..but 9 out of 10 guys wish u wouldnt say the word period..why..i dont know..but i know most are much more comfortable with that time of the month or somethin like that ha
oh and also im not sure but i think, the more comfortable the guy is with you..the more comfortable he will be about talking about topics like your period.
anyways hope that helped..=P

my little brother always had the best perspective on periods. When he was around 10 or so he begged to go and buy feminine products for me, his older sister. My mother and I were shocked but allowed him to go into the store and pick up my pads alone. When we finally asked why he was so interested he said in sage like wisdom "only guys with girlfriends or wives can buy this stuff, cause girls trust men they love to take care of them, and their bodies, so now everybody things I got a girl who loves me and tells me secret girl stuff!" When a young man sees truth... it's a beautiful thing.

I find it helpful to know that it is on the way or happening. It can help me put certain behavior in context. We men do need to handle such information lovingly and maturely, but women could do us a favor in return by letting their men know so that the emotional stuff that goes with it can be ridden out.

Periods are all part of nature and life. I talk to my wife about them a lot lately since we are trying to conceive.

my girlfriend and are are very comfortable talking about it, its not wierd, every girl does it. I do prefer to know when she is on it, although its fairly easy to tell.

I personally don't care about it, i know it apart of my girlfriends body function, so if she needs to talk about it i will listen and give advice. I'm also a nursing student so thats another reason why i'm not bothered by it.

Never gave it a thought. Most likely when she is on it, she will tell you, the elevator operator, the tax driver, the dog, the mail man. Should a PA sytem be available............
