I have a nickname that use to be my stage name when I was an exotic dancer. It kind of stuck with me. The name is Kitty-Kat. Kids use to call me that in school because I had so many cats and I am a big cat lover, also because I had/have long strong fingernails. The other reason is obvious of course.

I have had a variety of nicknames throughout my life and I have never given myself any of them. On my first name (Jason), most call me J-man, but at work we have an intern named Jaimin, so nobody calls me this much at work. I have been called Jake, Jay, Jayce, J-Dogg, J-Money (this is Jaimin's nickname), J-Rock (we have a DJ in this area who goes by J-Rock), J-Dove and J-Love.

My stepfather grew up calling me PJ for Pacin Jason, because I tended to pace back and forth when I am in deep thought (I still do). My father called me Rastuss (Rastuss Fat butt, full name) when I was growing up, and he had a nickname for all of my brothers, as well (Dufus, Pee-Wee, and Pecker-Head---yes I am glad I was not the youngest!).

My maternal grandmother called me Pumpkin my paternal Grandfather called me Jason Robards (an actor from my grandfather's time). My paternal Grandmother called me her Little Sweetie (I became her Big Sweetie when my brothers were born) and my paternal grandfather called me his Little Buddy (Big Buddy, later on-same reason).

My mother always called me Jason. Jason was a popular name in the early 1970's, and she named me for the character Jason from the movie, "Jason and the Argonauts", because that is how she fell in love with the name and would call me nothing else. Even though I am not the craziest about my name, I would prefer it if more people called me by my given name.

People at school call me Trixy because they think i'm going to be a stripper after college and they say that sounds like a stripper name. I think my best friend Shane was the first person to say that.

I was given mine through my job. I deliver sand, bulk sand. I haven't been called by my name at work in 10 years. Everyone just calls me the "Sandman". I looked it up. It's kind of Gothic. I'm not Gothic at all! Oh Well!

Sorta, just a shortening of mine. My real name's Jackie, but a lot of my friends call me Jax. So... yeah. A couple of people I know call me Shorty though, 'cause I'm tall. :P
