Gee - I don't know - never tried. I never felt that 12" was enough to get all tied up about. I think it might hurt if you were able to tie it in a knot. Suggest that before you try you have a good pee. Maybe try a "slip knot" so you can untie it quickly. For your sake don't tie it in a reef knot, somebody might just reef on it. You know, it might "knot" be a good idea to try.
