I'm tired of answering this question because people are too lazy to search Yahoo Answers.

Depends which suits your needs. A PC was originally designed for office use and it still is best for official stuff and business related stuff. A MAC is mor of a entertainment system, eventhough you might notice a significant difference in raw power (CPU, RAM), MAC is still the best since its resourceful, and cleans up after itself, unlike a PC where the memory is cleaned after the memory is full. So I recommend PC for business related stuff and a MAC for entertainment use like games, home movies, DVD authoring and all those stuff. If you look at the secuirity aspect PCs have way more threats then a MAC because A) Viruses and other threats tend to attack Microsoft based products more [not sure why though], B) A MAC has an intellegent shield on it, right out of the box, before any firewalls or antiviruses are installed. So I say again depends what you do on your computer, for entertainment MAC and for official and educational use a PC.
