Well, last I checked, there was more than just one player on the field - there are 10 others on offense, and 11 guys on defense. How can 1 player make that much of a difference. The only thing that Manning can do is try to fire up his guys. If they choose not to try, or they try but the other team tries harder, then how is that his fault??

And Dungy isn't the only coach. Yes - he is the head coach, and he does have a final say in things, but he has offensive and defensive coordinators, quarterback coach, special teams coach, and so on. So again, how is it up to one man?

I think that they may want to stop depending on their passing game, and pick up some runners, as well as some guys to hold a line. They may also want to get some defense. You can score all you want, but if your defense lets the other team score more, then it isn't worth dick, is it? I think looking at the defensive line may be key for them.

I wouldn't say choke and I wouldn't say because of Dungy.
I'm REALLY BEGINNING TO WONDER ABOUT MANNING THO.
As my brothers asks;
how does a man play superbly all season long and then get to the playoffs and play so f*cked up?
How many interceptions is it now in a 3 game span?
It's stuff like this that give fodder to the conspiracy theorist.

They are predictable and AFC teams (at least a few) have their number. N.E. gets really lucky against them like the year Vanderjagt missed that FG in the final seconds when he hadn't missed a FG all season before that.
