Well basically a sibling spilled some moisture absorber onto my leather jacket in the closet. Since it wasn't cleaned when it happened it now has hard spots and depressions that resembles like it melted. The stuff that was spilled on it was "damp rid". http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1279238
Is there a way to get rid of it or clean it?

The good news is your leather jacket really is leather! The bad news is leather shrinks when dried completely of moisture. Try some Murphy's soap, work it in gently, and often.

Go to WalMart and in the automotive department get a can of McGuires leather cleaner & Conditioner.

It works wonders on leather.
