good ways to make friends at community college?

im not really a people person.

join clubs. make study groups. step outside of your comfort zone if you are not a people person. eventually you will start making friends and things will get easier once you get to know people. try to meet a new person everyday and remember their name. DONT sit in the corner of the classroom or cafeteria alone and expect people to approach you. good luck.

Get involved. I know it's hard tomake friends there, since everyone's commuting, but seriously, the best way is to get involved in something outside of class. Or take a class where you can talk freely, like art or some phys ed course. Or take something with a lab attatched. But the most fun is to join a club or drama or something.

Find some clubs or extracurricular sports to get involved in. That's the easiest way to make friends. Also, look out for people to invite to study groups. If you have a group to study with, it's easy to make friends.

Make a study buddy. If you have a big test coming up, ask someone else in the class if they want to study together. Then if they're cool, and you get along with them, do coffee sometime. Sometimes you have to just put yourself out there, and remember that people's favorite thing to talk about is themselves, so just listen to them, and they'll think you're soooooo awesome. (which you probably are).
