If you are in Vegas, yes, you can place a bet on football games. If you want to place online bets, Vegas doesn't have any site where you can bet unless you are a Nevada resident...you'll have to do it with offshore books, and they are pretty much banned. Sportsbook.com isn't accepting new US customers.

You can bet on them, but not on the internet that I know of (due to the laws of the land).
In betting on a football game, it's more than just picking the team with the most points - they also have to beat a spread. See, they pick the team they think will win, and then guess a "spread" that the team will win by (Patriots +3). If the team you pick wins, but doesn't cover the spread, you lose. It is as if the other team wins. So it isn't just picking the winning team - it is picking the team that will or will not beat the spread. . .

you can definately bet in vegas. gambling is legal. one of the best online sites is superbook.com. but i would advise against it, youll probably lose thousands of dollars and like most gambling, odds are against you.
