Probably around 50-60K. Denver is expensive to live in though, so it's all relative.

My other half is a mechanic at a diesel shop and I remember him telling me once that at his old shop the foreman made around 70,000 a year. However the foreman was on an hourly basis and did work a lot of overtime. So perhaps a possible solution would be to find a shop where you can be in that position and still be hourly.
