Can you really become smarter by listening to Mozart and Chopin, etc. etc.? How???

Yep. Mozart and Beethoven are scientifically proven to raise your i.q. if you listen to them. My teachers have told me so, and they were being serious. Something like brainwaves and making you think about issues.

YES.

Listening to all kinds of music helps you mind grow. It is a language like any other and unlike any other.

Classical, Classical Rock, Classical Hip-Hop, Classical Jazz and the varieties of non classic music.

But you can't just hear it.

You have to listen.

The Harmonics, the Rhythms etc and how all of these combine to create a message of the musician and the composer --not always the same message.

To listen means to feel the music, to see the music, to taste it, to know its particular dance.

That's what make you smarter --- the effort to understand the music.

Not just hearing it.

no, you just appriciate music more. i listen to classical music, its relaxing.

idk but i cant stand it, the last time i went to a classical performence thingy i was in 5th grade and i fell asleep.
