When you have an affair and you wind up getting a divorce is the relationship after the divorce considerd an affair, a rebound or a new relationship? I was married to my wife for 10 years and she cheated I wanted to work on marriage but it was to late.Now I want to figure out what you call this and how long do they last?

Sorry I can't help reading a little into your question. "When you have an affair", "she cheated" You both did a little bit of cheating huh? Anyway, if you are a religious person, most will tell you that after a divorce you can't enjoy this kind of pleasure until she kicks off. I think that divorce was present in the old testament. This tells me that after it is final you can get back to business. However, I'm just guessing!

It's a renewed relationship. It has as much a chance of working as the first time around. This time you know what to expect from the beginning but because of the cheating you will have a trust issue to work on. Keep the communication open and do things as a couple and all could work out for life this time around
