I wouldn't recommend anything other than the original fuel - but colman stove fuel would work, maybe kerosine - but be REALLY careful if you try this.

Any flammable liquid/gas can be used, but they will not be the same as lighter fluid.

You could use petrol but it will smell dodgy and let off a hefty amount of black smoke when burning, and won't be good for your health. Same applies to parafin.

I've seen people use deoderant in zippos. They smell nice but evapourate rather quickly.

Anything you use will impair the flavour of your smoking as lighter fluids are designed to be tasteless. It is designed to burn cleanly aswell so as to have minimal effect on your health. Go out and buy some lighter fluid first chance you get.

sure you are able to! in case you do, do it speedy, and RUN AWAY quickly! I PROMISE, there is GOING TO BE a huge growth! My greater effective judgment tells me to point which you circulate to the closet gas station and purchase greater charcoal lighter fluid. besides charcoal lighter fluid is decrease priced than gas. I used gas to help burn moist leaves that i could raked into the trench in front of my living house. thankfully the section I placed newspaper on and lit burned slowly sufficient to offer me time to go away, by way of fact while it finally lit the gas, all I heard and felt replaced right into a noisy growth that shook our living house, and everyone elses around us. I had associates coming exterior claiming there had be a small earthquake. I had poured an entire 5 gallon bottle of gas on an area approximately 30 ft long.

Buy name-brand fluid. Bic lighters use butane. Don't take chances on gasoline, kerosene
