I have a twin brother - and I'm a girl. Growing up, we looked remarkably similar even though we are different sexes (fraternal). It still amazes me that people ask if we're identical when we're standing next to each other! I'm not sure if it's "cool," but it does make me different than most people. My experience has shown that twins can be very close or very competitive -so beware of what you wish for!

Yes, I have an identical twin and I think it's very cool! It usually takes people quite a few months after they first meet us to be able to tell us apart. Our voices are exactly the same and no one can tell the difference on the phone - including our parents and husbands! We used to switch classes in school and switch id's - she got her license first. My parents dressed us alike until we were 8 and we weren't allowed in the same class after kindergarten. In kindergarten we had to wear name tags the whole year so they decided to keep us apart - it was too hard for the teachers. Lots of interesting things growing up! We are very close and even tho we are now both married with kids I still see her about 5 or 6 days out of the week. We were even able to feel each others pain during pregnancy - ouch!!
Wouldn't change it for anything tho :)

yes...I have a twin sister!!!!...we're actually fraternal. I love being a twin but if you ask her she'll probably say the opposite haha. We were always on the same softball and soccer team...it was great having someone there I could always play/pass/throw with. We've moved a lot so it was very important/special to me to be able to go through it with someone else my own age...and if we'd join a new softball or soccer team, I'd always have someone for my partner (it would have sucked being new and having to go through it alone)

I have an alter ego... not really identical and we really dont get a long. I keep sending my ego to an out of town relative
